Lubna Al-Lahham
Lubna Al-Lahham is an architect and artist who studied Fine art in Mhanna Aldurra “the Ministry of Culture” in Jordan . Lubna’s main work interests are in abstraction and returning to the human and the unconscious. The artist paintings are just at the intersection of landscape and abstraction. She is interested in creating space and distance that feels like the familiar world around us but actually it is ambiguous and abstracted. In her world of paintings, she is seeking that the plains and the visual colors would intersect, overlap, and pile-up. Eventually, they would create a sense of the visual distance and of the depth which we can identify. Lubna gained award in Aug 2020 in a mono-print artwork, in Orfali Gallery based in Amman. She participated in two exhibitions of artists at the Jodar Artistry in the years 2018-2020.
