Born in Amman, Jordan, lives and works in Amman. Dana Rousan graduated from L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Besançon / France in 1996, received a ‘Certificat d’Etudes Supèrieur d’Arts Plastiques. Rousan trained in France and pursued a successful career in graphic design, advertising and television in Jordan, winning awards in the respective fields. In 2014 Dana Rousan exhibited in a double show at Zara Gallery Amman and took part in The Young Collectors Auction, Ayyam Gallery, Dubai in 2014 and 2015. In 2018, Rousan was selected to take part in the inaugural group exhibition “Truth is black, write over it with a mirage’s light” at Darat Al-Funun, Amman in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Darat and in Factory Jo, inaugural group exhibition at The National Gallery of Fine Arts in Amman. In 2019 Dana Rousan exhibited in “The Collective” group exhibition at Zara Gallery Amman. In 2020, the artist exhibited in “Beirut Fundraiser” group exhibition, MMAG Foundation, Amman.
